I wasn’t kidding about brief, darkish nails doing *essentially the most* for me for summer season polish. These three Chanel shades, which are from the newly revamped nail polish line, make me swoon!
141 Oiseau De Nuit
My favourite is the shade I’ve been carrying on my fingers for nearly a month now, 141 Oiseau de Nuit, a wealthy, blackened deep purple with a shiny end. I feel it’s moody and stylish with only a contact of edginess, and when it’s worn with minimal summer season make-up and an off-the-cuff bun or ponytail, the entire look is VERY cool.

I actually just like the large brush, which is flat and spreads simply throughout my nails. I can simply paint the polish from base to tip in a couple of fast strokes.
I feel the components is best than the earlier iteration of Chanel nail polish, too. It does a greater job of leveling out, so there’s no patchiness, and you may get a full block of stable shade in two coats. It appears to face up to chips higher total as effectively.
I’ve been testing Osieu de Nuit out with numerous high coats (Essie, OPI, and many others.), and the one which was greatest at stopping chips and holding the colour onto my nails was the new Chanel Le Gel Longwear Top Coat.
For those who’re going to splurge on any of the Chanel polishes, I’d extremely advocate getting the Le Gel Prime Coat to go together with it!
155 Rouge Noir
One other moody shade I’ve been loving is 155 Rouge Noir, a deep, darkish pink which I’ve been carrying on my toes.

This one looks like a shade that might simply go into fall; possibly it’s as a result of I can actually see it with a darkish ’90s type matte lip and a matte base? Even so, I’ll nonetheless put on it in the summertime. 🙂
161 Le Diable En Chanel
Final however not least is 161 Le Diable En Chanel, a darkish shiny black.

I really feel like Robert Smith from The Treatment would put on this when he must really feel pampered, LOL!
Let me know if any of those catch your eye.
Your pleasant neighborhood magnificence addict,
Karen
